Traceability
What good traceability looks like in a roastery
Traceability is not just about compliance. It helps teams understand what they bought, how it moved, and how it performed.

In a coffee business, traceability means more than storing a batch code. Teams need context across the whole workflow: supplier, origin, receipt, QC, roast history, stock movement, and commercial output.
When that information is connected, operators can investigate quality issues faster, review performance by lot, and explain inventory positions with more confidence.
The strongest systems make traceability usable in day-to-day work rather than treating it as an afterthought.
